Problems with pronunciation should get picked up in testing a website, but they may sometimes get missed, or there may not be the budget to perform any extensive testing. This series of tests aims to discover how different screen readers cope with words in different contexts, to provide a useful reference for typical problems, and to suggest remedies for those problems.
Important: These screen reader tests are undertaken with default preference settings and text-to-speech engines. The use of different speech engines may produce different results.
