Dotjay’s Lab

1. Experiments: my online “sandbox” that generally includes little projects and work in progress.
2. Tests: an area specifically for testing behaviour of a Web technology (e.g. CSS) or software (e.g. screen readers).
3. Notes: a library of notes written up from my research or the less coherent notes in my tests.

Highlights

• Various screen reader tests including a series of pronunciation tests and notes on screen reader quirks.
• Aural CSS support information and resources with plans to add test cases.
• del.icio.us proxy allows you to save bookmarks to your del.icio.us account without going to the del.icio.us site itself.
• A tool for detecting font sizes based on fixed units.
• Experimenting with input placeholder text.
